If you are new to cake decorating then you will love this book. Its covers great topics such as decorating tips, transporting your cake, how to cut your cake and even gives you some great receipes too.

I thought the book would illustrate the "how to's" of cake decorating. It really doesn't, there a some recipes and a few decorating ideas, but if you don't already know how to use the decorating tips, this book will not help you.

This is very informative one. I have all the answers in this book and you can really build confidence towards getting into cake decorating business! I have bought some books for decorating but mostly is for picture presentation purposes but this one is really a good one to keep well explained as most of the Books For Dummies.

The recipes in the book were good, but the best part about the book were the simplest tips. Basic information on how to frost cakes was the most valuable, but also the step-by-step guide on how to make specific theme cakes for birthdays, weddings, showers and whatever else the author dreamed up.

I have done cake decorating for many years and have now decided to do it as a side business. This book has really helped me with a lot of things I thought I knew, but actually didn't. I ordered several other books but they still look new, this you can tell has been used. Great cake recipes and ideas about starting a business.

If you would like to learn how to decorate a cake then I would reccomend buying this book. It gives you the basics of how to make the beginner designs and how to hold the pipping bag. It also has good recipes in it.

This book helped me out a lot. I have been doing cakes now for 3 years and it showed me A LOT of ideas and tips. You'll be happy you bought it. I'm giving it 4 stars because I like a lot of pictures and there wasn't a whole lot but some. Thanks Amazon for the great deal and FAST shipping!!!

I thought that this would have more ideas in it and other things to help me with decorating the cakes that I make but it didn't really. I am giving it a 4 star though because I think it is a good book to learning how to decorate a cake I have been doing it for a few years so a lot of the stuff in it I already knew I was thinking it would have had more in it but I still think for someone starting out it would be a good book.

Love the book. Simple, easy to follow. Lots of fun. Professional quality without being overbearing. Although call "or Dummies", the book does not dumb down the instructions.

This book is well organized and for a beginner, it easily describes each step for decorating a cake.
I liked the reminders of things not to do when decorating a cake. I would recommend this book to those future decorators who want the basics clearly defined.
