After mastering Cake Mania, I of course bought No. 2. There are lots of new characters, graphics, etc. but the strategy remains the same. This game differs from the first in that the location of the ovens, topping machines, and icing machines switch locations at every level. Also, the types of cakes baked are not the same on all 3 machines which makes the baking process a bit more difficult. The first few levels (or "worlds" - you'll see when you play the game) are relatively easy. However, my experience is that the levels go from this level to straight-up impossible (or very difficult). I guess this is a good thing for Cake Mania addicts as this challenge keeps the game fresh. I tried to find No. 2 for DS and apparently, as of right now (2008), Cake Mania will not be coming to DS (at least not this year). :(

If you liked cake mania, you will like this game. she has a brand new set of customers. I think it is a little more difficult than the first one and would be too challenging for young children. Maybe 10 and up.

Cake mania is a fun game that includes having coordination....... This is a great game to buy 4 your kids. I bought this game 4 my kids 4 christmas and they loved it. This is a great game 4 all ages. It runs very smoothly. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received this as a birthday gift after loading Cake Mania Deluxe on my computer and having a great time with it. This game is a little more complicated, as you get into making triple layer cakes. There are also more frosting/topping choices and it seems to me to move at a faster pace. There are new, over-the-top characters. I play this with my daughter, and we have a great time with it. A good sequel.

Love the game.... I have already beat Cake Mania and Cake Mania 3 several times. I am half way through Cake Mania 2, and I just ordered Cake Mania Main Street.

Love the game it was just easy to beat. Wish it had more levels and options to make it more challenging.

Let me start off by saying that my main beef with this game is the rating. I think that "E for everyone" is not at all what this game should be rated. I bought this game for my EIGHT YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. The characters are so utterly dispicable in that there are scantily dressed women, hideous freaks, rock n rollers, and even a part where the entire screen dives into Jill's cleavage! It was like cheap cartoon porn. I understand that not all mothers have the same discretion I have for my children but this is way over the top.

This game was better than the deluxe edition! In this you get to choose which path do you help your friend Risha first or your friend Jack, then from there you keep choosing your path. The end is always different with a different reward, so far I have 3 out of the 6 awards to win in this games. My advice for the game is spend your money first on the decorations because it'll help you bring in more money and be easier to upgrade to get a TV and upgrade your baking equipment. Again, watch which customers are more impatient than others and when you get the TV play around with the channels to see who responds to which program. Enjoy this game!

Is very fun and gets your mind off the "real" world. It is a little easier so defnitely would be a pick for some new to time management games. I love the characters

I love all the cake mania games and own all three....they are really fun to play and get your mind off other things...
