I purchased this game after trying it on Yahoo games. This is the most fun I have had with a PC game. Jill must be on her toes if she wishes to save her grandparents bakery. She will be expected to bake various shapes of cake with different colored icings. As the game progresses, she will be able to purchase faster ovens, icing stations that ice cakes quicker, decorative toppers to put on the cakes, a television to entertain and calm the demanding customers, etc. The clients are a wide range of fun characters, old women, kids, college students, businessmen, Uncle Sam, Cupid, vampires, Easter bunnies and yes, even Santa joins the fun. The game gets progressively harder and the action gets more frantic. Don't forget to upgrade Jills shoes, she's gonna have to fly to keep up with the demands. This game is addictive and fun for all ages. My only complaint is I wish there was a never ending option where you can just make cakes, like Diner Dash has. Give this game a try, it's well worth the money.

I've been up countless night playing this game. Just like Diner Dash there's not a boring moment. Graphics are good, concept great, and it's fun!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is really neat. It's all about juggling different tasks of baking different types of cakes, add frosting and different toppings, and keeping different customers happy. It will keeps you busy for days. Only problem with the game I ran in to is that it shuts down showing error message once in a while.

I bought this game for my 12 yr. old daughter. She was so involved and so entertained I felt like she wasn't even here. But it teaches things such as patience, math, and involves different types of stratagies and thinking process'. Anyway, she loves the game and would recommend it to others. CAUTION... can be addictive. Jokin' Have FUN!!!

The overall view of this game: you actually determine the outcome by buying pieces of equipment. If you are eager to upgrade your bakery every chance you get, you don't get some of the better pieces of equipment, however if you are holding out to buy the most expensive item then you are hurting your chances of completing the level. It is a great game, and can make you lose all sense of time once you start. Just be warned: Don't start playing this game if you need to get other things completed, cause most likely the other things will never get done.

I tried the free demo and then just had to buy the full version because I couldn't stop playing it, and I'm an adult! It was a lot of fun learning all of the tricks. I'd look up and hours would have passed. Now that I know all the tricks, it's engaging but also very relaxing. The graphics are bright and cute, and the game doesn't use up too much memory on my computer. This is one of the best games I've ever bought for $20 or less.

A fun game. I had to learn quick because the customers can get upset quickly. Just look at the clues and they will prompt you what to buy...Also remember when you can buy the TV. There are three channels on it. the cartoon channel is for: Children, Santa Clause, and the Easter Bunny.. The Food Channel is for: Dracula, the elderly women and the college students. The business men and Delivery men like the News so be sure to change it to the proper channel. Also give out cup cakes to angry customers. If you make a cake that does not sell, right before you pick up the last customers change, pick up the cake first, this will keep you from being charged negatively for it. If you get over whelmed, don't pick up the change on the counters. It will slow the pace of customers entering the store.

I have the original Cake Mania and LOVE the game! But each time I try to play Cake Mania Deluxe, it gives an error message and crashes, so I have not been able to play it. I wonder if the problem may be because of the first game which is very similar?? I asked tech support but did not adequate help. I thought of uninstalling the original but don't want to lose all my saved games because I am near the end in all the games. I have never had a problem with games purchased from other online companies, or from a store. I'm being sent the "3 rd" CD for this game since Amazon will not give me a refund. I sincerely doubt that I will ever purchase anything on this site again since this is my first time and I have had so many problems. I am 51 years old and am I not trying to "scam" Amazon! We'll see if the new CD works.... (hope so!!) If not, I'll finish the original game, uninstall it, then install CM Deluxe and see if that will work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I truly love playing this game!!

I have really enjoyed playing Cake Mania Deluxe. My 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter loves to watch while I play. I am sure she will be trying it before long. This game is very challenging as it progresses and you have to be quick. I had a couple of levels that I thought I would never get through but eventually I did. I would recommend this game.

Fun filled hours on end greatness! This is the addictive game for 2007. Fast pace cake baking madness...and makes one hungry for sweets ! Buy it, enjoy it, and join the mania!!!
