This company is a joke, I ordered the cake of the month for 12 months for my husband for our anniversary. Every cake is the same, coffee cake, with only different fruit added to the top. The last 2 cakes ended up in the trash, as they were so vile tasting my husband refused to eat them.
They say "money back guarantee if not satisified" NOT, they will transfer your subscription to a different "monthly club" but they will not refund you your money.
I did not order "coffee cake of the month club" I ordered cake of the month club!!!!
Will NEVER order anything from this company again.
And will tell everyone I know not to order from this company either.

I ordered the 12 month subscription for my wife as a Christmas gift. So far we have received 3 cakes and they all arrived safely in very good condition the last week of each month. While we enjoy the cakes, all three have been essentially the EXACT same coffee cake recipe with different fruit: apple-nut, then blueberry, then cranberry-nut. So far I have been disappointed with the lack of variety, especially when you consider each cake costs slightly more than $20. If you like coffee cake, however, this may be a great gift for you.

I ordered a cake-of-the-month for my dad and stepmom on the opposite coast on December 15. As of January 5, they still did not receive the card noticing them of the gift. When I called flying noodle, they gave me the brush off, saying that they could resend a notice to me (not doing me any good being 3000 miles away) or could resend them the card for a $5 fee. I told them that was unacceptable and had to actually ask for a manager to get anything straightened out. It almost doesn't matter how good the cakes or other products are if the company is unreliable.

I was given six months of cakes for Christmas this year. I've gotten two of them and they were very good! When I opened the first I was afraid I wasn't going to like it very much - pumpkin cake - but it was lovely, dense, moist and yummy. The cakes travel well, keep nicely, and are not filled with artificial ingredients. My first choice would have been six months of wedding cakes but, in light of the impracticality of that, these cakes have been surprisingly good.

Pretty much describes it all. My wife loves it however made the comment that the two cakes received thus far were very similar in taste and design. So 4 stars but it could have been 5 with a little more variety :D

I bought this as a gift for my brothers family and they absolutely love it! What a great gift to send to someone. It certainly beats giving flowers! This is something they look forward to getting every month and I can't tell you how much all of them brag about how delicious the cakes are and how happy they are to know they will be getting a fine desert for an entire 6 months. Don't be hesitant about ordering this for yourself or as a gift. Enjoy!

Gave this to my cousin and his wife the past two years. They were very pleased with the cakes they received (and would send me pics of the cakes as they received them). Liked that we could send it quarterly, rather than monthly. Just wish there was a little more variety in the cakes. Nonetheless, great gift for that "difficult to buy" person on your list.

Having read the reviews about delays in notifying receiver and delivery taking too much time I ordered and decided to be patient. It did take a while but not unacceptable. This is not a last minute gift where you order and it is shipped next week or even the next week unless you just happen to meet their cycle. I never called to follow up and received the gift card to myself within a couple of weeks and finally the first cake the very last day of the next month. I believe that is what they shoot for -- delivery, the last days of the month. The cake was marble with chocolate pieces and disappeared in 2 days. Looking forward to end of July cake!
