I picked this up on a whim while travelling. The format was a bit difficult at first - first person stream-of-conscious narration, but before long I (unexpectedly) became so completely absorbed in it that I would do almost nothing else but read this novel until I finished. I fell in love with these oddball characters and the realities they represent. Wonderful story, beautifully done, highly recommend.
