Great Product,

This review is from: Cakewalk PC Music Pack (CD-ROM)
I am new to the world of midi. I had previously purchased some midi software that was simply horrible, it was in no way friendly to those who are new to midi, the midi cord i had obtained also did not work. This package however, is very nice. its simple and easy to use. It even has an instruction booklet(instead of a card telling you how you can purchase an instruction booklet). Also included is a working midi cable, which is a nice touch for those of us who do not wish to purchase one separatly. There is, of course, better software out there, but if you are new to world of midi, this is a great place to start. this package is affordable (some software can go up to hundreds of dollars), complete (i have yet to see a midi software package that comes with an instruction booklet and a midi cord (the cards telling you to purchase a sams teach yourself whatever in 24 hours are really annoying), and its really easy to use. A great product for a great price!

Better buy Music Creator,
By "heco102" (Miami, Florida United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cakewalk PC Music Pack (CD-ROM)
It is a great software, friendly, easy (after some practice, reading and having some music knoweldge) and beatiful. I love the way everything is displayed. My only question is : should you buy this Music Pack for $...or Music Creator 2002 for $...?. In this Music Pack you will find the same Music Creator 2002 (really the same, it's one CD-ROM made by Cakewalk), a MIDI-Joystick port cord that you can buy for $... (I guess, not sure MSRP), some little extra software and a 30-day trial version of Pyro MP3. In today's world the 30-day trial versions are free. I may be missing something, am I ?
