I purchased this calendar expecting drawings, paintings or photos of Civil War soldiers, battlegrounds and memoriabilia. Two-thirds of the pictures were basically nothing more than pretty sceneries: the ocean outside of South Carolina (with a note on the calendar that a Civil War sub sank in the ocean near there), a bridge in the winter (close to a battle site), and the like. There are a couple pictures which actually related to the Civil War (Longstreet's statue at Gettysburg, Stuart statue, etc), but if you want a real Civil War calendar, look elsewhere.
