These work great. As an Aircraft mechanic, I use these nearly every day. I have had no problems with these safety wire pliers.

Needed to saftey wire a few bolts on the motorcycle so I found these safety wire pliers. Good price, easy to use and perform as expected. For the amateur safety wire job these work just fine and as advertised. I would recommend them to anyone doing small to medium sized jobs.

These really work well and look like they're going to hold up well. Don't expect Snap-On or even Craftsman finish and feel at this price (expect a little paint to rub off on your hand). They work really well though, producing quality work.

These are made in China, and the fit & finish are just ok. My set has a spot on the cutter that won't cut the wire off on the first try, but scooting the wire to a different place works ok. The actual winding of the wire function works superbly, but overall they still don't appear to be a premium tool; in my opinion they are a bit overpriced for this level of quality, but yet they do what they're supposed to, so I really can't complain too much.....yet, I've only had them a week or so.

My old Milbar safety wire pliers are about worn out so I thought I'd give these a try. Absolute Chinese junk. A real hassle to use. Don't waste your money, buy some good ones. These are more trouble than they are worth. Can't rate less than one star. Gave them to my 4 year old grandson for his "tool box".

I worked with safety wire pliers for 20 years as an aircraft mechanic in the military. These pliers look identical to the ones I used as a mechanic, but that's where the similarities end. The spinning action didn't work, the locking mechanism was anything but easy, but the worst part was the end cap handle popped off and fell down into my car's engine. This all happened on the very first use. I spent quite a bit of time trying to locate the missing end cap, but have yet to locate it. Not wanting to create more damage to my vehicle, I put these pliers straight into the trash and spun the safety wire with a pair of needle nose vice grips. What can I say, inexpensive and made in China. I broke my own rule (never go cheap), and now I’m paying for it. Never again.

I've used lockwire pliers over 20 years in military aviation.
I know how to use these pliers and how they should work.
I know that these pliers only cost $15 but I expected them to work!
The handles of the pliers are crude and rough, not even finished.
The jaws bite well, and locking mechanism works, however the main
feature of being a "twist plier" doesn't work!
the pull knob does not work properly with the twisted rod that runs
through the pliers, rendering the pliers unusable as twist pliers!
Very Disappointing!
Don't waste your time or money!

Pliers twist well but they need to go back to school on the cutters---they are not milled correctly. To use with any efficiency requires one to take along an extra wire cutter which is a little of a nuisance. Overall though it is a keeper and a handy tool with a myriad of uses.
