This was my second stab at a duffel which could be used day-to-day. The first (a 36") was just too big. This one is "just right" for carrying not only wortk stuff, but lunch and workout clothes too. Very sturdy zippers, comfortable shoulder strap, lots of pockets, including the place to put damp work out clothes or towels.

Very good for the price, and equal in utility to bags costing lots more. (BTW, we kept the larger size - it's a really nice travel bag, but not good for schlepping on public transportation.)

A few years back, my wife and went on a cruise and we needed new luggage; we both bought the CalPak Proxy (one for each of us) and we have been happy with our decision.

I like that there isn't a frame so I'm able to store the bags in a bin by folding them up when they are not in use. They don't have wheels but I have a traveling dolly that I can use for both bags, plus some other gear; it's easier than dragging a train of wheeled duffles behind us while trying to not lose a sholder bag.

Since I've bought the bags they have been flown to Colorado multiple times and thrown in the back of our Xterra for multiple cross country trips, and the bags still look like new.

I'm so pleased with CalPak's that I just bought the Persuader (briefcase) for traviling with my laptops; I'll be hitting Florda in a week for a conference and I'll be using the Proxy for that trip along with the Persuader, and I know that my luggage will hold up to that trip as well!
