I've used Construction Master calculators for the last 15 or so years. I started with the first one and have upgraded each time Calculated added more bells and whistles, they keep getting better. At any one time I'll probably have 2-3 of them -- one in my tool-belt, one in my truck and one in the job-shed. What makes this new desktop model so great is that it's got all the best features of the handheld -- plus some extras like cutting angles, trig, a backspace key and more memories. Plus my eyes aren't as good as they were 15 years ago, so I really appreciate the big display digits. All in all an excellent tool that will have a permanent home on my -- and my estimators -- desk from now on! (until they improve it and come out with a new one -- then I'll upgrade again!)

Perfect tool for anyone doing construction estimating, material take offs, or engineering. Makes calculations with feet and inches fast and easy. The buttons are big, good for any size fingers. Though it works great for desktop use, the size would make it cumbersome in the field.
