This book gives a good breakdown of the metric system and the math needed for calculations of drug dosages. There are examples and questions of every kind. In the back of the book, the answers are given in a detailed step-by-step manner, allowing you to check your work and figure out your mistakes. Good book for learning dosages.

I am currently using this book for my pharmacology class. All of the answers are listed in the back, but they aren't accurate. There are many mistakes. The grains conversions are almost always wrong. It can be very frustrating. My professor said the last edition had lots of wrong answers as well and they are considering switching textbooks for next semester.

There are so many typos and flat out calculation errors in this book that my nursing program quit using it. Not happy I wasted money on it.

I am starting a nursing program in September of this year and have to take a test on the second day of school (need to get 100%). I am unable to take the course that was offered over this summer, therefore have to rely on my own abilities with this book. This book has been a godsend!! Math is definitely my weakness so I was worried as to how I'd do. I am doing really well!! Each chapter has a pretest, review, worksheets, and posttest. Very self-explanatory and to the point....Can't say enough....Thanks to this book, I am confident that I will be ready for the test!

It was brand new so it was very good. The book came with a CD, which was extremely helpful to me

There are a TON of errors in this book. My prof used it for the first time in our class and said she would switch to another text the following year. It's not very helpful in terms of instructional value either. Waste of $, paper and time. Pooh!

had to buy this for independent study. it is so easy to follow along and I have learned so much in the short time that I have had it. would recommend this book to anyone!

School hasn't started yet so unfortunately I can't give an in depth review on this, but it was exactly as explained and much cheaper than my school bookstore. It came very quickly..

Good math book for beginners, it contains the answers in the back of the book and also the instructions and demonstrations are of help whenever there is no one else around to help with any problems you may encounter. I keep practicing the math questions over and over.

This book is a wonderful help for nursing students who are going through nursing school, for nurses who need a little review, or for anyone else in the healthcare field that needs to learn or review drug calculations. This book has certainly proven to be a wonderful addition to my textbooks!
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone in healthcare that deals with drugs and drug calculations!
