I am a high school math teacher teaching AP Calculus for the past 10 years. I had been using earlier editions of this textbook and recently switched to this newer edition. I am as pleased with it as I had been with earlier editions. This book is a good, basic, standard Calculus text with numerous applications-oriented problems and has proven to be an excellent preparation for the College Board's Advanced Placement examination.

This book is pretty nice. It provides you a lot useful concepts with brief explanation. Your job is to study and do the homework to digest that such concepts ( you'd better have a solution book that comes along with it). Don't blame for the book not covering everything as you expected, like other science courses, you should have a fair understanding the basics before go up to higher level.

Because this was a requirement for class, this book served me very well. It is clear and easy to understand if one has the time to concentrate while reading and complete the practice problems.

This was a used textbook that was advertised "Like New" and it was exactly that. It does not look like it was used at all and it was less than half the price of a new book.

When I ordered this book I was worried that my exam would be over before I ever got the book, but I was wrong! The book not only came well before the exam, but it came in better condition that I would have ever thought. It was like new and would buy from again!

this was a great buy for the price and I am really happy to get an affordable price in the condition it was in. Thanz
