This review is from: Calculus of a Single Variable: Early Transcendental Functions (Hardcover)
If your teacher doesn't make the ride easy for you, then you can count on this book. It's organized so that you really feel as though you are learning Calculus from start to finish. I've looked at other books that seem to jump around from concept to concept, but the approach here is well thought out and the explanations adequate. Formatting (color of text, organization of topics, etc.) makes it easy to find what you're looking for if a section refers you back to a previously studied concept (or forward in some cases) allowing for the deepest understanding possible. Use it for your class or study on your own if you already know your Trig. and Algebra. I like this book.
