This book has lots of mistake. I bought when my college started and now its falling a part. the glue is coming out from the binding. there are many better books then this one. i just had to get it because my school used it. if amazon let me switch for the "better and strong binded same book" they would be awesome. NOT THE BEST BOOK. BUY THE PAPERBACK VERSION SO MUCH BETTER. IT WONT FALL A PART!!

bought it for my calc 2 class, its an alright book i wish the prof had assigned another book though. This one isn't what I consider to be 'the best' option. Oh well, it arrived on time for me to go through it and prepare for my first test.

Home work problems were more difficult then the examples in the chapter, really had to think about the answers. The solutions manual helps to a certain extent, but it skips over smaller steps, so you have to be able to understand the basics.
