I have purchased four of these ice packs. They are perfect. They stay cold for quite a while and also come with a cover so you don't have to worry about using a towel. The pack forms perfectly around the area you want to keep cold. I highly recommend this product. Since buying these packs I have gotten rid of all the other various ice packs we kept in our freezer.

I've got issues with my lower leg muscles and tendons. This gel pack works great because I can wrap it around the area with no problem. It doesn't seem like it would be cold when it's placed inside the sleeve, but it really does! I use this every night for 20 minutes while watching TV. Sometimes I use it twice a day.

This is the hot and cold pack we always pick over all the rest. We have had many injuries where they worked perfectly. The covering is soft, stays on, transmits both cold and heat just right.

Product as described. Freezes quickly. Very pliable around broken ankle. AHHH! Cover is nice quality. Gel from another product (?) had leaked onto my ordered gel pack but the goo washed away easily and pack has had no leaks of its own.

This is great although I only use this for cooling purposes. I recently had some surgery and was able to use this help with the swelling. The cover is ideal since you can not put the gel pack directly on the skin.

what can I say... Its an ice pack. The only difference is that I've used other ice packs and they aren't as flexible nor do they stay as cold from the freezer. This one is cold and very flexible, I use it for icing my ankle after therapy exercises and it does a great job. I leave wrapped around for about 10-15 minutes at a time and it is still very cold after I use it.

I used this to relieve lower back pain. It's the right size, texture and shape for the area I used it on my lower back. It works great, comfortable, adjustable, and easy to store in freezer.

I couldn't believe how impossible it was to find a decent cold compress. I'm happy I found this Caldera option - it's just what I needed. I run, and often ice my knee or heels after finishing a tough workout. The gel pack comes with a black bag that keeps the condensation off my skin, eliminating the need to wrap it in a seperate towel. I really like that I can just pop the gel pack in the freezer and in about 2 hours it's ready to use. Highly recommend for any fellow runners.

The Caldera Multi-purpose Therapy Gel with Cover are awesome! I recently got my wisdom teeth pulled out and bought these because I knew I would need some sort of ice pack. And I was right! Came home after surgery and immediately pulled these out of the freezer. I'm so glad to have purchased this product(bought 2 of these). The cover was great too, it doesn't feel at all uncomfortable on my face.
The price is very reasonable, better than the $15-20 ones at the local pharmacy.
Shipping was fast too, used the free two-day shipping w/ Amazon prime. All in all, I'm very happy to have bought these and I know I'll use them again in the future.

Perfect for the knee or the elbow. Not too big or small at 4.5x10". The cover is durable and perforated on the "skin" side but has a pill-and-snag free light fleece on the outside. The compression strap works well. A far better product than the Elastogels which have flimsy covers that the strap "hooks" tear up constantly.
