First off, I did not purchase this item to use for hot/warm therapy, so I cannot attest to how it does warmed up. My chiropractor instructed me to use cold therapy on my neck. There aren't really many neck sized things available locally, so I opted for Amazon, my stand-by.

While I am impressed with the size & shape of this wrap, I was not impressed with its cold therapy use. The instructions indicate it will be ready after 1 hour in the freezer. HA! Try overnight. Even after overnight freezing, it still wasn't quite cold enough to be used as an ice pack, plus it lost its cold properties very fast. It's a shame this wrap didn't work for me because I truly like the shape & size. A wrap that I was happier with is Medi-Temp Head-Neck Hot/Cold Therapy Pad.

The cloth cover and velcro strap make it easy and comfortable to keep on the area to be treated. The price was reasonable. I am glad to have it on hand.

This product is very convenient and works well on knees. No more trying to get ice packs or a bag of frozen vegetables to stay put! I'm very happy I bought it.

The main reason I bought this was because of the sleeve and how it could be wrapped on most parts of the body. The sleeve is great. It wraps comfortably around my ankle, back, and knee. I did not wrap my shoulder with it, but I do not see why it would not be great. The part that contacts the skin is a nice mesh-like material that feels comfortable on the skin. No irritation. However, the gel pack that comes with it is not that great. I have only used it as a cold pack so far. It is far too cold to start out, then it's appropriate for 10 minutes, then it's not cold. I have an old ACE hot/cold pack that I use in the sleeve and it's perfect. So if you are looking for a great wrap for a hot/cold pack, this is it. But you may need to find a better gel pack to get it just right.

I got this to ice my shoulder after a sports-related injury. It's great. The strap is long enough I can ice my shoulder but I could just as easily ice my back or any other body part with it. The sleeve for the ice pack is a good thickness and delivers the right amount of cold to my skin.

The shape is great, the cushion feel is nice BUT there is a critical flaw. Because there is fabric involved -this picks up any smells in the freezer. And believe me you will be surprised, you can open your freezer and smell nothing and when you take the wrap out it stinks. So I was very disappointed - wanted this so badly for pain and bought 2 thinking it would be perfect from other reviews.

I have about 5 of these now the reason I keep buying more is that the Elastic goes bad after not long at all. The ice helps my back feel better but usually I put a brace over it to hold it in place now.

I was reluctant after reading some of the reviews - but this has worked perfectly for my needs. It holds the ice pack on my shoulder and arm in place and would work just as well on legs. My gel pack stays very cold for the entire time I am using it (usually 30 minutes at a time)- unlike other reports. This is exactly what I needed at a terrific cost.

This thing DOES NOT get cold at all. It STAYS in the freezer until i need it yet it does noting to soothe and comfort any aching body part. Please do not buy this, as you WILL regret it.

My husband is having carpal tunnel problems and we don't have insurance, so he is trying to self medicate. This wraps around his wrist perfectly and has helped tremendously! I can think of several other uses we'll have for this product in the future.
