Solid, fits good on AR fixed stock. Ok on the AR adjustable stock. Perfet for I.O. AK's style rifle. Hi cap mag or not the space under the rifle it is a plus.

Received this item 3 days after ordering from Amazon. After spending 5 minutes reading the directions, it went together quickly and with no worries. Used the sled to sight in my new M4 with an EOTECH. It took just 10 rounds to get a 1/2" dead center group at 50 yards. Just wish lead was not so expensive, but for my 223, the sled by its self works great.

Very well built, my car15 fits it perfect even with a 30 rd mag attached. I use 4 5 pound barbell weights and it is very stable. I really like the forward strap feature. It keeps the gun setting stable.

I bought this to sight in my scope on my rifle and for my Colt 6920 M4. This is a very sturdy lead sled. It works for my rifler perfectly, but as for my M4 the only thing I have to complain about it that you have to take the rear sling loop off for it to fit properly. Great product.

I put this together in just a few minutes and was ready to site my rifle in almost immediately. This is a wonderful product and is really stable on a stable table. I highly recommend the Caldwell Lead Sled Solo. I intend to purchase an AR15 soon and this unit will accommodate that also.

First the pros- this thing is solid. No play in the feet or where it pivots at all. Also where the cradle mounts is very solid. Well made and heavy. The problem is the interface between the rest and the rifle. The front cradle is made from hard slick rubber and it didn't seem to fit any rifle I tried. The back cradle is floppy rubber that doesn't support the butt so even though the rest is solid any slight pressure on the gun moves it around.

If this thing had a bag on front and a better setup in the rear it would be 5 stars. I returned it and went with a rest/ rear bag setup.

I purcased this rifle rest to sight in my 22 rimfire and my ar-15 223. It has enough room for a 20 round clip. I don`t know about a 30 round clip. Easy to set up. May need some weight for larger caliber rifles.

I bought this for my husband for christimas... He hasn't used it yet, but I'm sure he will like it!
