I bought the lead sled to help me more accurately sight in my deer rifle. It has proved to be a valuable asset. I know it helps me to get on target in fewer shots and as i get older it's nice that it absorbs all the recoil. I recommend this item to all shooters. Great product. I found instead of buying the expensive lead shot to weigh it down that a 20# and an extra 10# dumbell weights purchased from any discount sporting goods store works like a charm for less money.

I've used the 'sled' a couple times now out in the flatlands....it is great! Steady, solid. Holds my Ruger .243 as well as my Browning 7mm magnum and my .475 Turnbull lever action. Excellent!

Finally got tos use this for the first time to signt in my .300 win mag and a 7mm WSM. WOW! Assembly was a snap and I used two 25 lb. dumbells, one on either side of the center rod. Worked flawlessy. Adjustments were easy and it really can eliminate a lot of errors. Worked perfectly with the Caldwell Stable Table. Very impressed!
