I first saw this item at the range. Our shooting neighbors both had one of these for their long-distance (400 yd) iron-sight shooting. I was impressed with how well the rest functioned. Once set up, you can lay shot bags across the legs for added stability during recoil. Re-establishing the shot becomes easy. The price is quite reasonable for the quality and usefulness of the item. Highly recommended for sighting-in and bench-rest target shooting. Would buy again.

A great name for a great product. It's steady as a rock, and easy to use. It was pictured as having a bubble level, but mine didn't have any, not that I cared. With my AR and high capacity mag, I found it better to turn the rest 180 degrees, so as to allow more clearance for the AR's mag. I read some other reviews that complained about having to assemble the rock. I had it together in a few minutes without looking at the instructions. That made me wonder about those who complained about assembly. I don't think I'd want them to have a gun in their hands, if they were confused by something so simple.

Solid product, does what you'd expect. Easily put together. Two points worth mentioning are; the tightening handle used for locking the elevation screw is long and obtrusive - I can't figure why that size of a grip is needed. I replaced it which a thumb screw that protrudes roughly 1 & 1/2 inch so that it doesn't run the risk of hitting your gun. Secondly, if you are "A" retentive about finish, forget that. This had chips in the paint down to the metal in several places - poor packaging, careless, handling, sloppy manufacturing? Who knows.
