Indigo blue, sky-blue and apple green create strong effects of Mediterranean nature in the Caleca pattern "Bluemoon." Ideal for the table during Summer in that it recreates the ocean atmoshere of Sicily. Each Caleca ceramic piece is individually hand-painted and "autographed" on the bottom by its decorator, after which is applied the registered Caleca trademark, authenticating to the originality and high quality of the product. Just recently, Caleca Italia has reached a milestone in developing a new low porosity, extra strong, but lighter ceramic body comparable to stoneware, vitreous and procelain, rendering the Caleca products highly resistant to chipping and prolonged usage.
