"Blue Garland", the blue version of the well-liked Caleca pattern "Pink Garland." This decor is identical to the pink version with the exception that it is in a light-blue color. Its simple rose-bud theme appeals to just about everyone because it is not over-whelming, but just has that bit of romantic flair that is quite dainty and delicate. Each Caleca ceramic piece is individually hand-painted and "autographed" on the bottom by its decorator, after which is applied the registered Caleca trademark, authenticating to the originality and high quality of the product. Just recently, Caleca Italia has reached a milestone in developing a new low porosity, extra strong, but lighter ceramic body comparable to stoneware, vitreous and porcelain, rendering the Caleca products highly resistant to chipping and prolonged usage.
