Book Description

July 30, 2009
A perfect tongue-in-cheek gift for the straight-shooting guy's guy, The Man's Calendar is exactly what it looks like—a year of grids, nothing more. That is, except for being a fantastic bargain. For less than a buck a month, no-frills dudes can find out the date every day and keep track of stuff without being distracted by superfluous pictures and froufrou text. It's slyly stylish, smartly designed. The monthly grids are extra large and roomy, covering the top and bottom of each spread. Puppies? Eh, who needs 'em...

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice calendar, December 3, 2011

Great calendar but I don't like how the week starts on Monday instead of Sunday. It threw me off because I'm used to seeing calendars that start on Sunday. The paper was nice and thick, more like cardstock than cheap paper. The design is simple and easy to fill in. I would recommend it if you like calendars that start on Mondays...

I like the calendars that use all the space for calendar space; however, this one is a bit weird. It's made of flat (regular) paper rather than the shiney stuff that calendars are usually made of so if you use a marker or Sharpie (like I like to use so I can see it from far away) it bleeds through onto the next page. Also, the weekends are on the end. It goes MTWThFSS instead of SMTWThFS so you have to adjust your thinking when looking at it.

I probably wouldn't buy it again as I know there are other calendars that have large grids but don't have these issues.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I thought based on picture, January 23, 2010

I was all excited that I had found a month to month wall calendar that had a yearly calendar on the side. At least that was my impression from the product description which had a picture of a monthly calendar and then a whole year calendar next to it. But what I got was a big monthly calendar that had separate pages in it for the year. So you could not see and make notes on both calendars at once. So I kept with what I already had on my bulletin board - one calendar that shows the current month and another calendar that shows the entire year. I would not have bought this calendar if I had known that you could not use the monthly grid and the yearly grid together without taking the calendar down off the wall and paging through it.
