4.0 out of 5 stars Nice calendar
Great calendar but I don't like how the week starts on Monday instead of Sunday. It threw me off because I'm used to seeing calendars that start on Sunday. The paper was nice and thick, more like cardstock than cheap paper. The design is simple and easy to fill in. I would recommend it if you like calendars that start on Mondays...

2.0 out of 5 stars It's okay
I like the calendars that use all the space for calendar space; however, this one is a bit weird. It's made of flat (regular) paper rather than the shiney stuff that calendars are usually made of so if you use a marker or Sharpie (like I like to use so I can see it from far away) it bleeds through onto the next page. Also, the weekends are on the end. It goes MTWThFSS...

Also, the weekends are on the end. It goes MTWThFSS instead of SMTWThFS so you have to adjust your thinking when looking at it.

I probably wouldn't buy it again as I know there are other calendars that have large grids but don't have these issues.

I was all excited that I had found a month to month wall calendar that had a yearly calendar on the side. At least that was my impression from the product description which had a picture of a monthly calendar and then a whole year calendar next to it. But what I got was a big monthly calendar that had separate pages in it for the year. So you could not see and make notes on both calendars at once. So I kept with what I already had on my bulletin board - one calendar that shows the current month and another calendar that shows the entire year. I would not have bought this calendar if I had known that you could not use the monthly grid and the yearly grid together without taking the calendar down off the wall and paging through it.

I love this calendar except for the fact that it starts the week on Monday, so it is confusing if you are used to a calendar that starts the week with Sunday.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good calendar appropriate for some businesses, not personal use, January 14, 2010

This is your basic calendar without any cute photos. Because both the top- and bottom-halves are available for working space, there is a lot of room for busy people to make notations. It is printed on heavy stock which should keep the hanging-hole from tearing out.

An important detail which is missing from the description is that this calendar has each week starting on Monday and not the conventional start of the week on Sunday. Some businesses use Mon-Sun calendars, making this a design choice and not an error.

This information is missing from the description and cannot be seen on the images without zooming-in. The omission of this key element is why I rate this a four instead of five.
