I AM a preschool teacher and I use this year round. Even though preschoolers may not be able to read all the words, having them look at the print and follow along as you point and they sing is very benefitial to a preschooler's exposure to print and language, that alone is one of the many ways children learn to read. Besides, my students absolutely love it just because the songs are fun and catchy. They look forward to learning the song for each month as the new months begin, this is how we use it. It's great, I want to buy one to make sure I personally own one!

My 3-year-old's preschool teacher was trying to find a way to teach the kids their months of the year, and this was perfect. I got it for her as a classroom gift, and she started using it right away. My daughter came home singing songs about all the months, and could identify which month her birthday was in, when summer was, what month Christmas is in, etc. I highly recommend it!

I bought this for my 2 and a half year old, and it's really great. She sings the songs, she points out different things in the pictures, and she can tell me about the different months. It says that the age is Pre-K to 1st grade, but she is doing well learning with it. I would also recommend the alphabet flip chart by the same company.

I purchased this for my five year old son for Christmas. He loves school and loves to learn! He gets this chart out everyday and wants me to sing the songs with him and in a very short time he has already started memorizing everything! This chart teaches days of the week, months, times of the day, etc, in a very kid friendly & fun way!! I would recommend this to anyone whose child is struggling or anybody who just wants to get a head start!! Excellent AAA+++

I am a Kindergarten teacher, and my kids love to sing songs. I would have given this 5 stars if all the songs were fast, because my kids are not fans of the slow songs.

I teach Kindergarten. I love the cd and the flip chart makes it easy to follow with the kids. I like the paper it is on and the colorful pictures on the chart. I use it all the time. Parkerv

I bought this for homeschooling. The kids LOVE it! They want to sing all of the songs at once (that was not how I planned it, lol, but if that's what they want!). I was really happy when I got it in the mail and it was huge! Very easy for a whole class to see if you teach public school and the pages can be written on and wiped off. It teaches everything - seasons, months, days, weeks & weekends, time, weather...I love this and am so happy that I got it!

I was looking for a nice laminated colorful calendar with extras for my preschool, and thought this would be perfect. The flipchart is mostly words to the songs with a few pictures. My preschoolers cannot read, so the words are not helpful. The flipchart is basically useless unless the children can read. I have not listened to the CD yet, so I do not know if the songs are good or not.
