I was very happy to find these bunk beds. It seems that dollhouses never come with enough beds, and it's hard to find extra beds for sale. Usually they come with an entire room, which is furniture we don't need, and too expensive.

We bought the bunk bed to add to a Fisher Price house. The beds are nice because they are rather small, so will fit into almost any of the dollhouses we have, including some older Little People houses. The Calico Critters fit in them just perfectly.

The beds can stack to be a bunk, or be taken apart for 2 twin beds. The bed itself is made out of boring beige plastic, but each has a fabric covered mattress, blanket and tiny pillow that help dress it up.

Bottom Line - if you're looking for beds, buy this bunk bed set.

I was impressed with how many different things my 3 year old can do with the beds. She has had them as bunk beds, as single beds on each side of the room, bunk beds with their matresses on the floor for a "sleep over." Because they come with so many pieces, pink pillow, blue pillow, 2 blankets, 2 mattresses, & 2 beds, & latter she is free to be creative with that room. The critters fir great in the beds and she loves to put them together.

My daughter began her collectio of the Calico Critter line about 2 years ago. I thought they were pricey but they have held up well. The dolls, dollhouse, furniture, and accessories endured young children and a major move. Very durable.

I got this little bunk bed to go along with my Christmas purchase for our 3 yr old daughter. I got the cozy cottage which came with one critter and one bed. I added the Peaches and Freddy Swing n Play because it had two little critters with it...then they needed a bed and this bunk bed is PERFECT! Although it is a little tall for the upstairs in the Cozy Cottage, it doesn't have all the extras the other bedroom sets come with and that is a good thing since the Cottage is on the smaller side. The bunk bed can easily be set up as two single beds if your little one prefers. I'm so glad I got this along with the two tiny critters, because it is important to my 3 year old that everyone have a place to sleep. :)

I thought id be satisfied with out the extra dresser and toys the white set comes with but when i put the bunk beds in my Victorian style mansion it felt bare. I took the nightstand from the lavender girls bedroom set to put between the two beds and now it feels more complete.

It is pretty much as pictured, but not as substantial as I had anticipated. It will go with the little house, and my little grandsons will enjoy it, I am sure. It was purchased for a gift. Promptness of shipment, and accuracy was great.

I can't get over how cute these are! I personally think $8 is a little much, but still they're cute enough that I bought two. I've loved doll twins and doll bunk beds for as long as I can remember. They fit perfectly in any dollhouse, and it's a great place to put the twins when you want to move them from their cribs to "toddler" beds as they are just the right size.
Now under the listing it said that these beds were "beige", I took that to mean that they were wooden, they are not. I was ready to stain them to a nice cherry. They are a hard molded beige colored plastic. Which I guess is better for kids, as it means no spliters or splitting wood, even though I would have prefered wooden.
Education wise? Well, it teaches a child that if you don't stack the beds properly the babies will fall out and go crashing to the floor and end up with some nasty head boo boo's.
Durability? Well, I guess as far as children go, it can withstand a few temper tantrums, but if you(a bigger child) hurl the thing down the stairs or have someone over 25 lbs step on it, most likely you'll be buying a new one.
Comes as shown with Nine pieces: Two bed frames, one ladder, two pillows (pink/blue), two mattresses (white with pink/blue flowers), and two blankets (pink/white; blue/white).

Along with the Calico Critters Carry Case and a few rooms of furniture, I purchased the little bunk beds for the twin rabbits. The bunk beds are very well made and can be used as a bunk bed or two twin beds. The detail on the beds is nicely done and they are very cute.

My daughter loves how small and detailed the furniture is and enjoys hours of playtime with the bunk beds. Anyone who has Calico Critters would love these.

My husband and I picked out these bunk beds for my daughter's birthday. Not surprisingly, she loved them!

I was thrilled to see how durable they are. My two year old son loves them as well and he can play with them since they are so toughly made.

It comes with two beds that can fit together either way. It doesn't matter which bed is on top, which is nice for young kids. They can be together or apart and they each come with a mattress, blanket and pillow. A ladder is included as well.

The Calico critters fit in the beds perfectly. If you're looking for beds, I would definitely invest in these. I can easily see that my 5 year old's own children can play with them someday.

My daughter's Calico Critters seem to enjoy these bunk beds. My daughter has no complaints, either! The furniture is nicely detailed and a great buy for populating a doll house, whether for Calico Critters or for other doll house residents.
