I've bought this toy for my three year old. She and her friends love playing with it and as the rest of Calico Critters it is extremely cute, detailed and wonderful for little imaginative minds. My only problem with it is that it doesn't seem to be very durable. The bridle was torn apart before we could even put it on the horse and the doors, and windows of the stable seem a bit flimsy. My three year old is pretty gentle too. We'll see if it can stand the test of time. Other than that, great toy!

Another good product from the Calico Critters line. My girls love playing with the pieces. They appear to be durable and will last for some time. There are a number of little pieces that can get lost. . so if you have a younger child, you may want to consider putting those pieces away for a bit.

My daughter is 2 and 1/2 and loves horses and calico criters so this was the perfect toy for her. She plays with it almost daily. She loves to play by herself and make up stories about the horses and her bunnies.

High quality, fun, saddle makes it easy to put the critters on the horse. Cute accessories. Would recommend this.

I purchased the Calico Critter's stable that came with one horse and a "little sister" size bunny for my 4 1/2 year old daughter. The small pieces -like the horses harness and brushes- were all broken or lost within 5 weeks after Christmas. However, the major components are a huge hit with my daughter. We've even since bought her a 2nd horse (2 will fit in the stable). My daughter takes her critters horseback riding every day. This playset can keep her attention longer than most other toys out there. We are overall very pleased.
