5.0 out of 5 stars The best baby wash and shampoo!
I love this stuff. One squirt and it washes baby from head to toe. It rinses easily and smells wonderful. One bottle lasts a very long time, if you can keep from using it on yourself. I used it 10 years ago with my second child and used it through the toddler years. Now that I'm expecting again, I am so glad to see I can still find it. I can't wait for that freshly...

2.0 out of 5 stars Still too harsh for my little one
I was hoping this line of baby products would work for my 7 mo. old, but unfortunately it's still too harsh for her. Specifically, it made her scalp peel a bit when I used it as shampoo. It seemed to be okay for her skin, but I wanted an all-in-one shampoo and wash. Guess I'll be sticking with Cetaphil for the time being. Loved the way this smelled though so I gave it...

5.0 out of 5 stars fabulous! Smells great, February 19, 2007
This review is from: California Baby Calming Shampoo/Body Wash (select option/size) (Health and Beauty)
wow I have been using this for 2 years on both my babys. They both have sensitive skin and everything breaks them out. This product smells so fresh and has a light lavander smell. I have had so many compliments of my kids smelling good. Its pricey but it goes a long way. One or two sqirts is all you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, March 15, 2005
We've been using this on our four year old since she was about 1 or so, and I wish we'd started sooner, it's extremely gentle on her skin and mine also. The money you save on creams and such to treat skin irritations will pay for the product. I also love their bubble baths, you will never have another yeast infection again because of a bubble bath...we're expecting number 2 in three months and I am taking a small bottle of the Super Sensitive Body Wash to the hospital for their first bath! =0)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Sensitive Little Ones, December 21, 2004
I have a toddler and an infant who both have very sensitive skin. I use the California Baby line of products, including this shampoo and bodywash, and have had great results. My little guy had rough, dry patches on his arms from other, more popular sensitive skin baby washes. California Baby cleared those patches right up! I also love the bubble bath; they have a variety of wonderful scents and they don't cause dryness or itchiness. I highly reccomend the California Baby products.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gentle Body Wash, February 15, 2009
This review is from: California Baby Calming Shampoo/Body Wash (select option/size) (Health and Beauty)
Since I have ezcema, I use it as a body wash. It does not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate so it doesn't irritate my skin. It smells like light lavender. Unlike Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Pure-Castile Soap, 18-in-1 Hemp Lavender, 32-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2), it doesn't leave my skin feeling waxy in the shower.

5.0 out of 5 stars Got baby eczema?, July 11, 2005

Our little sprout had extremely sensitive skin from the start. I searched high and low for the right clothing detergent, lotions, etc. He had reactions to stuff that was even supposedly hypo-allergenic. This product was a godsend. California Baby is soft, bubbly, slightly aromatic and really cleans your kid! But it is perfectly gentle for babies with eczema or other rashy allergies. It won't cure eczema, but it will not aggravate it like Johnson and Johnson products. AND it is tear-free, so if they splash around, there's no worry. The downside is the cost, but the price is definately worth it to have a happy rash-free baby. And it's nice to support smaller companies who produce quality products. I highly, highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking for, May 14, 2005
I didn't want to use a baby cleanser that would possible irritate my new babys skin, so I tried this. The product worked great, leaving by daughter's skin and hair super soft and not dry and over cleansed. I appreciate the natural ingredients, lack of additives and fragrance. If you are worried about what to use on your newborn at bathtime, this product may be what you are looking for. Super gentle and nothing more than what is needed is added to the shampoo & bodywash.

5.0 out of 5 stars Calms baby and mommy!, March 23, 2009

This review is from: California Baby Calming Shampoo/Body Wash (select option/size) (Health and Beauty)
California Baby has become my favorite baby-bath products company. The Caliming Baby Shampoo and Bodywash is the one I use for my son. This soap is quite concentrated so I use a small amount, about the size of a dime, on a washcloth and clean my son's whole body. Using such a small amount means the bottle lasts quite awhile! The one thing I did not like was the smell, at first. I do like it now, the problem most people have is the fact that this lotion does not have actual perfume in it, it has the actual scent of the herbs. Most commercial bath products that have a lavender scent, though it is a perfumed version of lavender, not the actual plant's essence. The scent is calming, I have used it for my face as well, but prefer my regular facial soap, though I do like this for my body. It is a great product for those who are looking for a product free of artificial ingredients!

I use this for my 5 and 7 year old boys and it's gentle and smells nice. They both have eczema and I try to avoid sodium lauryl sulfate, which is in almost any liquid soap product. This is no tears and contains no SLS - great for us!
