Quite good...,

This book is quite good in that it has detailed commentary on a few of the bigger, well-known streams in California. I'm a bit disappointed that he did not include any commentary on other streams that are actually quite productive with large fish (I own another of Sunderland's books and I know he's aware of other "blue ribbon" streams). Anyway, it's a good book... but it only really covers a few rivers/streams while leaving many out.

i like this book because it tells you what type of fly to use and what time of the year to use it on that river or stream. also has great pictures of rivers and streams
