Excellent introductory guide to coastal invertebrates that is easy to carry on a cord, and is waterproof. Doesn't have every species, you may see, but does have the ones most likely to be encountered.

This is a single page, plastic laminate card. It has small hand-colored pictures and limited notations on about 100, primarily intertidal or shallow water, species. Notations give size of the critter and where it might be found, in very small type.
