I read the first one. I just hated that it took so long for part 2 to come out because I had to go back to the first one to review what was going on thats how long it was since I read the first one.

I say it was just ok. All the action action didn't start happening until way way at the end and from how it ended it looks like a part 3 just may pop up what probably a year from now also.

Chunichi is a good author I liked all the Gangsta books but, this one ummmm.

Well it's a contining to Jewel, Touch and Sasha.

The first one leaves us thinking that Jewel was shoot by Sasha.

Well the second one starts you off with what else was going on before the New Years party.

So then Calico having beef with Touch and want him dead. Poppo having beef with Calico and want him dead so he can take over Calico's business and be the man.

Sasha wants everything that Jewel have even Touch and if she can't have him she trys her best to find someone to take him out.

Sasha up to her old tricks as always. Dogging everyone and having everyone looking to dead her.

Jewel becomes friends with a nurse name Misty that have other plans up her sleeves.

So it was a ok read not all exciting and full of drama. All the drama happens way at the end and it looks like it was rushed just to get the book over with.
But, I wont lie if there is a part 3 I will surely read it.

This book was not what I expected at all. Some authors should leave well enough alone, I will not be purchasing the 3rd book.

In my opinion, this sequel was just ok to me.Nothing really to brag about. This book contained alot of unrealistic drama...I mean really? some things were just way over the top.Plus I had already figured out what "Misty" was all about early on into the book,so if that was supposed to be a twist, then it did not surprise me.The end of the book left me wondering the fate of Jewel and Touch..their lives couldnt possibly go back to normal after all that.I felt really bad about what happend to Sasha's son, that was about the only shock value that I got out of the book.3 stars from me.

Ok, Im still baffled by Sasha betrayal in all this mess. Why did she claim to be Jewel's friend... Jewel gave the girl whatever she needed.. That's why I say, keep your friends away from your money and your man.. I guess Sasha thought she could be a boss chic when she was nothing but a dud.. Anyway back to book 2.. I didnt like how Jewel just made friend's with Misty and started telling her all of her and Touch's business.. And Touch what a clown. If Jewel was his best friend for many years, how can he turn his back on her by listening to a chump like Poppo.. So you see I really didnt care for book 2. At the end, how did Jewel get Touch's phone number when Touch threw his old cell phone away??? Ok, now here is the kicker.. Maybe Im jumping the gun a little here, but in book two Touch left to go to IHOP, but got into a high speed chase with the cops... Ok, we all know it was misty driving the car but how can Touch just flipflop on Jewel like he was always there for her.. I really hope book 3 bring all this to a head, cause Im gettin pissed off...

i read this book within a day or so. i liked but not loved it. this is a short, easy to read book i didnt like how Sasha kept hating on Jewell, wanting to be in her shoes and not thinking of the danger she put herself and her kids through. she let revenge consume her greatly and had her going after things she shouldnt have. Jewell was ok this time around but she shouldnt have been trying to gain revenge on Calico either...Although the drama was needed for the story I kept thinking how weak Touch was with women...He had just broken up with Jewell and then he goes out looking to get laid by Dirty Diana but hooks up with lisa instead...Then he goes to sleep with Misty who is an undercover agent. And how about Jewell sleeping with Misty and getting in Touch's face like nothing happened?? the book was ok. Im not sure I will read it again. But its good for the shelf.

I just got done with CC2 and it was a cool book. It was very fast paced and I enjoyed Chunchi first person style of writing. I thought Touch breaking up with Jewel over the whole Poppo thing was a bit of a over reaction considering everything they been through before that. It wasn't that serious dude. Misty had me fooled for a minute but as soon as she started sexing everybody I knew she was up to something. The sex scenes were good and nasty. Overall this was a good book nothing spectacular that made me go whoa. I hope I don't have to wait another year for part 3.
