Cant wait for part 2!
Ms California
This tells the story of Jewel, some would call her a gold digger and others would just call her a get money chick, either way, money is her main focus.

This wasn't a good book to me and I say don't waste your money buying it just borrow it.

I have never been so angry at a book in my life.I hated the characters but loved the story line.I just felt like the main character wasn't as slick as she thought she was.I love this writer I have two or three of her books but this was a major dssapointment. And the fact that she left me hanging at the end now forcing me to buy the next book only makes me even more angry. It's been a few months since I read this book, but I seriously want my damn money back.

This Book started out slow and it continue being slow up until chapter 11, I couldnt take it anymore. Give me something to look forward to. This book was WACK......... Thumbs down. Maybe I grew up, but after reading book one again, on the California Saga, I like this book. It was full of drama, and I got into this book... Hey people change so, I now give this book a 4 star.. And I will continue to read the rest of the Saga....

I really liked the book. Once you pick the book up you WILL NOT put the book down until you are finished. I like how the author brings up Czeia those of us who are readers knows what happened to her but they still speak her name.
The book is also a good example of haters be lurking and never wants to see anyone make it to the top weill this book does that. If you haven't read it what are you waiting for.....I'm waiting for the second part lol

This book was really good. The setting was pretty accurate too. This book is filled with suspense and action, with a hint of love and deception. I recommend it. More than likely you will end up getting part two if you read this because of the ending and how it leaves you wanting to know more.So if you see all three, go ahead and get them. I promise you won't be sorry:)

I must say that I am an avid fan of urban fiction.. I read em all & u will never catch me bookless.. This book has got to be the worse book I have ever read! Its slow & boring.. what you expect to get from a book in the first couple chapters, is what you get in the entire book.... no excitement, nothing that makes you wanna keep reading. The come up is unexplained. A pretty face is a dime a dozen, so your left wondering what makes Jewel such a catch?? very amateur compared to what you expect of urban fiction. & the ending?? WACK WACK WACK!! I won't spoil it for those who intend to waste time reading this book but because there aren't any details or explanations the ending makes absolutely no sense. I dont even have an interest in reading the other books in this series because it was just that unentertaining & uneventful. Whats funny is, if u look at the cover the model has a bad weave (check out those roots in front) her heel is hanging of the back of her shoe & is crusty & the left shoe looks broken, missing the back strap.... but it represents what you will find in this book perfectly... lol I suggest you leave it on the shelf & dont read it unless you have nothing else & its given to you for free!

This page turner had me glued. There was nothing but excitement from beginning to end. All of the characters had their own personal drama which in turn intertwined with each others. The ending was a cliff hanger that deserves an explanation but hopefully it will come soon. Hats off to Chunichi for writing another excellent series.

I have to say at first this book was a little slow I was waiting for some action to get started but, then half way into the book it starts getting all into the good ole stuff.

This book had jealousy, greedy and back stabbing going on.

Jewel she is that type of female that can mak it on her own but, she also uses men at her time of need when it came to money. Her friend Sasha is also her lover every now and then they get down but, Jewel tend to talk crazy to Sasha by telling her what she need to do or by bragging about what she all have.

Touch is Jewel best friend that keeps his eyes on Jewel and helps her when she needs it. Touch also have somethings going own with her girl friend and he drama kids mom that just don't want to let him go for nothing. Touch is a drug dealer selling drugs and going in with his friend Calico but, he also setting Calico up on the side.

Calico is a drug dealer that just uses women by throwing money at them then moving in with them and using there house as the spot then he is out the door.

Calico started getting with Jewel and Touch wasn't liking that Jewel was letting her guard down with Calico.

Sasha decied to pull a sheisty move on Jewel trying to live her in the dust but, it all back fires on her and then Sasha decides to do something crazier.

Overall good book can't wait to California Connections 2 come out want to find out what else going to happen. :)
