The quality of the costume was a lot better than expected. I wear a 36" waist and the large fits perfectly. I'm a pretty muscular guy, about 6'2" and 240lbs, so I was concerned about the legs and shirt fitting too tightly, but it actually fits really well. It's the first time a "large" has fit in a long time. The boot tops are a little tight, but all in all I'm really satisfied.

This costume runs a bit large so I bought this for my husband based on other reviews and they were true. He wears a 38 waist and XL top and I bought a Large costume and it fits perfectly. Not to mention the price is awesome!! and I was surprised to get that much quality for the price!

I ordered on Monday and got it on Wednesday. This costume is just Terrific. It comes with everything you need to make a complete costume. I was extremely satisfied with this order and product!

I needed a pirate costume for Pirates in the Carribean night on our Disney Cruise and this was perfect. It was comfortable and thin for the summer. It took up little space in my luggage. The "belt buckle" is a piece of leather-like plastic that doesn't hold it's shape very well. It was good enough for me though. I decided against using the headband and eye patch. You'll need you're own black shoes to go with the boot toppers.

Overall, it looked good, was priced reasonably, and was comfortable to wear during the summer!

Costume arrived in a bag and nothing was missing.

The pants fit well, I normally wear 33-34 waist. The length was ok but not really an issue since the boot covers cover them.

The shirt was a little big on me but given the type of costume the shirt is supposed to be baggy. It would easily fit someone much bigger than and I'm about 5'7" 160lbs and I ordered a medium.

The wrist cuff things gave me the most problems. They kept coming untied. Get someone to help you tie then double knot them :)

I didn't end up wearing the head band but I did try it on and it was comfortable. It is made of what felt like spandex.

Overall everything survived the party and it turned out to be a good deal considering the quality and price. I'd order from these guys again for something similar.

My husband and I bought pirate costumes through Amazon to wear on Halloween in New Orleans. If you've ever been to New Orleans you know that it is difficult to dress in ANY manner that gets even a glance, as New Orleans is full of costume wearing people, even if it is NOT Halloween!!! We were asked to pose for about 5 pictures by people on the streets that night, and told by many others how great we looked. I ordered this man's costume in the L size (42-44) when normally my husband wears about a 36-38, because of reading previous reviews, and it worked out perfectly. The boot tops are not easy to keep up, so make sure to take more than one safety pin per boot top, or something else to secure them, as they will continually fall down. Once secured, however, they look good. The arm ties need to be tied with a knot, because they come loose. The belt buckle might be better if also safety pinned, because it flops. But over all, for the price, this costume was perfect!

VERY NICE QUALITY.SIZES ARE ACURATE.I LOVE IT!MUCH BETTER THAN OTHER STUFF IN STORES LIKE KM OR WM.I DEFINATELY WOULD BUY AGAIN.

Im not very tall at 5'3" and this costume fits me well, i only have a few concerns, the belt buckle is the same material as the front of the belt (vinyl) and the belt ties on in the back so i just got a D-Ring belt instead, and the boot top covers don't cover anything lower than the ankles (if you have black boot its not a problem but if you don't it is other than those minor things im very happy with my purchase

Costume arrived ahead of its scheduled delivery date. The reviews were correct the costume does run big. As I ordered one size down when I read that. Fits great and was a great price!

Good costume, survived the party so it served it's purpose well...;) The size matrix is a bit confusing, medium size is about 36" waist. Luckily the pants have a kind of a hook which you can attach to the shirt for protection against accidental indecent exposure.
