My daughter actually wore this to prom. The theme was Old Hollywood and the dress worked perfectly.

I ordered this costume for a Halloween party. I chose this particular costume because I wanted something that was not super revealing and not too expensive. When the costume arrived it was exactly what I expected. My only complaint is that the material was very thin so I had to buy a half slip to wear under it. Overall though the costume was very cute and got lots of compliments at my party.

Fit well and was comfortable. I paired it with a Marilyn wig and was instantly recognized as having dressed-up as the starlet. The darts on the dress are extremely pointy, (think Madonna in "party hat" bra outfit...) Had to fix with my own needle & thread, but in the end, it all worked out.

I was really surprised at the quality of this costume. My plan was to partially destroy the dress so that I could be undead Marilyn, and so I intentionally was looking for something cheap. However, this dress is too nice to destroy!

Yes, like most white dresses of this nature it is a bit see through. However, I did not notice the pointy issue in regards to the bust line and so this detail might have been corrected. I do not have much to add above what others have said. I did want to caution other consumers that this dress might be sized a little small. My normal dress size is 4 and so I thought that I might have to tailor this a bit because it supposedly fits sizes 6-8. However, the dress fits nicely. My advice is to look more at the measurements than at the actual size.

When I received the dress I noticed that it was good quality material for a costume and was excited to try it on. The dress is definately cute and figure flattering. However, the skirt is very see-through which could probably be fixed w/ white or nude shorts underneath. But the biggest disappointment was the material in the bust/nipple area had a weird "puckering" which makes the breasts look cone shaped and very odd. Mabe a large busted woman might be able to fill it out more and make it appear less cone shaped,i'm not sure. If I were good with a sewing machine I might have tried to fix it but alas I am not a seamstress and had to return the dress and come up with a new costume idea. Bummer

I have an event to attend and needed a white dress - took a chance and bought this outfit instead and I'm very pleased with the purchase. Some reviewers keep stating that the dress is see-though but what do you expect with a white dress made from 100% polyester - you just need to wear black undies under the dress. I am a full figured size 12 and bought the XL 12-14 which fit perfectly, hugging and accentuating all my curves. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because there are some fine black marks on the dress that are barely noticeable to the eye but there regardless - I hope when I wash the dress these marks disappear. An otherwise good buy.

I loooooved this costume!! It is thin material so you have to be careful not to wear bright panties but I wore black underwear and it was perfect! I wore it to a nightclub with the wig and everybody knew who I was! The dress is very light and simple to put on! I am 5'3" and 135lbs so the Small size fit me just right! The bust of the dress has 2 little points that looks like you have nipples but that's just how the dress is seamed. some people may find that bothersome but I love it. I wish I had more parties to go to so I can wear it again!

Very fast delivery and good product. Fabric is thin (as you would imagine for this price point) but has a good fit. The only fit problem is the darts on the top. As another reviewer pointed out the dart give you the "madonna cone bra" effect. If you have ANY basic sewing skills this is an easy fit!

This was perfect for the costume party that I attended! The size was perfect! I was not suppose to be but I was the star of the party!

I was very glad with my purchase but I just have a warning for future buyers- you need to be aware of this. If you are petite like me the dress will be a bit long on you but other than that it was perfect. The price was very good compared to the dress and I'm glad I bought it. I recommend it.
