    Looks just like the picture.

The skirt was a little big, and the top a little short and slightly tight.

    Transcription of the video:

"Okay, I just received my costume in the mail and I'm actually really happy with it.

Everyone complains about the hat. This is the hat. It's actually fine. I just think it needs a little steaming or, you know, a cool iron to get back right, but I think I will be able to work with it.

This is the belt. You know, it's just a cheap costume belt. It's a little wrinkled so I will have to steam it. Here go the little sleeve things. They look like the picture, I guess.

Here is the bodice, which I think is the most important part of the costume. It looks just like the picture to me. I don't know. Um, I did try it on. Everyone complained that it's too short. I'm only 5'2, so it fit me fine. I won't need to put anything on underneath it.

And finally, the skirt... oh sorry, that's the back. This is the skirt, and it's actually really cute. It is short, so, you know, be prepared for that. Go ahead and get your little tutu thing if you want that. You don't need it, but I am going to buy one.

Okay, that's it. That's my review. Thumbs up... four out of five stars."

Note: I used Amazon prime shipping and received this item next day. Also, there is a photo of me in the costume in the photos section.

Alright, overall it's pretty good. It's cheap, but it will work for a few good runs. Here's the layout:

Reference: I bought a large, and my measurements are:
Bust: 39 inches (c-cup). Waist: 35 inches. Hips: 39 inches. Height: 5'4". The costume fits snugly.

    The top:
You've probably read other reviews, and they all say the top is too short, and it is. I'm 5'4" with a short torso, and it's still short. It doesn't matter if you're short or tall, with a long or short torso, the top will always be rather short because of the way it's cut. You have to pull the skirt up pretty high so that no skin peeks out between the skirt and the top. It's not terrible, but it's annoying. The top is a zip-up back, and the material is pretty stretchy, which is a plus. The faux corset front is fragile, so DO NOT PULL ON THE STRINGS. I repeat: DO NOT PULL ON THE STRINGS. I decided to try to pull the strings just a little bit tighter so that it would look better in the front, and I pulled one of the eyelets off. I had to sew it back on-- like I said, it's cheap.

    The belt:
It's crap. The waist measurement (I got a large, and they described that as up to 31 inches), is for the belt, not the top. The belt has nothing to really hook in to, so the weight of the buckle will cause it to fall off. Unless you have the perfect hourglass body, you won't be able to use it. It's made out of a stretchy plastic material that crinkles up if you pull it too tight.

    The skirt:
By far the best thing about the costume. It's made out of better material, and it has an elastic waistband. Because the costume doesn't come with a petticoat, you might want to look into buying one.

    I ordered a size L for my 5'5" 170 lb curvy self.

Just a back round on my frame, I usually wear mens medium t-shirts perfectly, and a size 12-14 jeans from Old Navy, anyone that has struggled to buy jeans knows how GREAT Old Navy fits;), and I wear a 34B. So, there was a little bit of room left in the bust of this pirate top, but if you are that concerned, you can always wear a cami under it for modesty.

Looking at the pic online, I was initially concerned with the length of the skirt. It looks a little short, but she must have hiked it up just for the advertisement. Because, I had the skirt sit just at the bottom of the shirt, and the length was longer than the pic shows. A comfortable length for a girl that doesn't wear shorts, much above the knee.

The top IS short. Like, at my navel, but if you pull the skirt up just a bit, it hides the tummy.

I ordered the white pettiskirt that Amazon suggests getting and it really DOES make the outfit! I still bought some lace shorts to wear under and GLAD I DID because it was windy out that day! ;)

The ONLY reasons for 4 stars is that like a few other ladies, one of the loops that the ribbon threads through on the front of the shirt came loose as soon as I tried it on. But a little hot glue fixed that in a jiff.

And the belt doesn't stay tight by itself. maybe a safety pin, or if you're crafty, sew (or hot glue) some velcro on it. I just tucked it under and it held ok.

I also had to reshape the hat. You can't be angry that it got squashed in the mail, I just got it a little wet in the sink and held it firmly how I wanted it while I blow dried it. Then I used TP rolls to keep it rounded on the sides and not squashed flat.

I am pretty happy with this costume, not only is is rather inexpensive but its pretty well made for the price. I'm pretty sure I will be able to wear this for many years to come. The only thing that I don't like about this costume is that the top is WAAAAY too short. I'm five eight and the top comes to about a half inch above my belly button, I pulled up the skirt and that covers my belly without making me look weird or look like I've got a too short torso. I will now have to get a petticoat though because the front of the skirt is only inches now from revealing my unmentionables. The only other thing that I was disappointed about is the hat. The feather was tiny and ruined so I'll need another one, and the hat is completely smashed, no amount of reshaping is going to fix it, I will however try resewing it after I try to iron it and see if that helps. It also came much sooner then expected, only three days after my order was made. So all in all i would definitely buy it again and recommend it as a great deal.
