Editorial Reviews

Review

"...a novel that reads like a porn movie script ... taught me more than the school playground ever did." -- Helen Lawson, Book Review, queercompany.com

"Maltese is to gay short stories what Stephen King is to horror novels! CALIFORNIA CREAMIN' lives!" -- Chad Stuart, author MEN IN HEAT

"No one writes the California gay scene better than William Maltese!" -- Joey, author DIARY OF A HUSTLER

"This second edition of William Maltese's CALIFORNIA CREAMIN' is likely soon to be eclipsed by even more..." -- Kyle Reich, author TEACHER IN CHAINS

"You want true-to-life cowboys, fetishists, hustlers, surfer dudes? Look no farther than Maltese's CALIFORNIA CREAMIN'" -- Lambert Wilhelm, author TIED-UP RANCH HANDS --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

From the Publisher

The customers demanded a second edition of William Maltese's runaway best-selling short-story collection, CALIFORNIA CREAMIN', and we're pleased to oblige. Providing a change of format and cover art in order to distinguish the fast-becoming collector's first edition from this follow-up. What's more, we've timed the marketing of this latest have-to-have edition (for anyone into reading and/or collecting gay erotica), with the appearance of Maltese's long-anticipated full-length gay novel, WHEN SUMMER COMES. While Maltese's popular novel, A SLIP TO DIE FOR, first book in his Stud Draqual mystery series, precedes WHEN SUMMER COMES to bookstands and into reader libraries, SUMMER is vintage Maltese fun and games, surf and sex and sex and more sex, that's bound to please the discriminating gay reader. Prowler remains pleased to continue getting this ever-popular author's always-in-demand work out to those increasing legions of his fans who are becoming more and more! insatiably adamant to have at it. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

More About the Author

I've been in the business of writing books for a very long time, and I derive particular enjoyment from visiting different places and then trying to relay the "essence" of those places to my readers. Likewise, I'm very adventuresome as regards trying new things, whether it be exotic and strange foods and/or other more personal "things".

It's summer. It's hot, and you should be near water with this book in hand. This collection of male on male erotic short stories will make you need water for cool down, as it features about every man-type needed to break your sweat. What's your pleasure? There's cowboys, wannabe cowboys, a hitchhiker, athletes, young hustlers, young surfer studs, military men, and hmmm... did I cover all of them... no, but I'll leave the rest a mystery.

But the key to all of this is the author, William Maltese. Thanks to his adept use of descriptive words and action words, you get to play voyeur. You can be right there with these youthful, sex-starved beauties. You can watch, you can feel, and by the time you've finished one tidy little tale out the 13 total here you'll be ready for the pool or beach to lower the temperature a bit.

Pity your wrist.

From Great Britain, but "All-American boys with sex on their minds strip down to their jocks and beyond in this collection of seriously filthy adventures. ¶ From whipping ass to licking boots, with a touch of ritual scarring along the way, these tanned West Coast studs aren't averse to being told what to do and how to do it. ¶ Includes the novella 'Uniform Sex.'"--© zebraz
