About the Author
Victoria Bailey & Kim Crandal --Victoria is a successful custom book publisher with a love for story-telling and documenting history. With over 20 years experience in advertising and publishing in Los Angeles and San Francisco, she published eight books a year on various topics from health care to hospitality, including a luxurious volume celebrating 150 years of the incorporation of the City of San Francisco. Since moving the Coachella Valley, she has distinguished herself by publishing commemorative histories such as California Desert Resort Cities books for the Cities of Indio and La Quinta, and most recently, Simply Perfection, a book about The Quarry at La Quinta, a private golf club. Kim Crandal is a respected hospitality industry manager and food and beverage consultant with expertise in both day-to-day operations and special event planning. She has orchestrated a wide variety of innovative galas, member-guest functions and on-going programs for a number of prestigious private country clubs with great attention to detail. Her appreciation of creative chefs in their mastery of the culinary arts is what led to the creation of this book.
