MARTY OLMSTEAD is a freelance writer and the author of several guidebooks. She covers the California wine country in a weekly column and is a contributor to numerous national and regional publications including Wine Country Living and the San Francisco Chronicle. Marty is based in Sonoma, California.
ROBERT HOLMES is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s finest travel photographers. His photographs have appeared in virtually every major travel magazine, including National Geographic and Departures. He has 28 books in print and lives in Mill Valley, California, with his wife and two daughters.

too few wineries covered,

This is not the book for wine lovers who like to plan trips to Napa and Sonoma. Too many photos, not enough wineries. only 60. the "best" wineries? that's in the eye of the beholder. still looking for an update to "Touring the California Wine Country" which has a short paragraph on each winery and lists them in geographical order.
