When I was lucky enough to find this CD used at a garage sale, I was incredibly happy. When I began to really listen to it, I got a little sad. Not because the music was bad; far from it. No, I became sad because I realized how few people in the world are going to get to hear this album, until some enterprising record executive gets his stuff together and rereleases it (maybe with bonus tracks).

What are you missing with this being out of print? Try "This Time", one of the best uptempo songs of the past 15 years. And "Love is Not Like This", which will absolutely break your heart. We're talking about the best music ever made by a TV band, even the Monkees.

So, record executives, if you want to continue to deprive the world of solid songwriting and heartfelt performances, by all means, do not rerelease this CD. But I feel someone out there- someone with a heart- owes it to the world to shed a little light on a dark and dreary pop world. Maybe I'm crazy. That's just my California Dream, I guess.

I recently bought this cd at amazon.co.uk. I liked it because their music and lyrics are great. If you are a fan of California Dreams, I recommend buying it.

I've been wanting to get a CD of California Dreams for ages, and then I found out about this place, please, please get the CD back soon. Their music is great, I watch the show all the time when it's on.

California Dreams was like Saved by the Bell with music. I loved their comedy and fell for their great music. For what I know, Jennie Kwan (Samantha Woo on the show) continues her music career as a member of the girl group Nobody's Angel. Kelly Packard (Tiffani Smith), formerly of Baywatch, is a correspondant for Ripley's. I believe Brent Gore also is furthuring his music life. For a site dedicated to the Dreams, I heard they actually have an anthology album given to the cast and crew. This CD has many updated songs. Anyways, just wanted to throw in my two cents. Hope the Dreams have a reunion some day!

The soundtrack to the hit t.v. show "California Dreams" is fun and upbeat. Although it is very hard to find nowadays, if you do happen to find it, pick it up. Your ears will thank you. Songs like "This Time", "If You Only Knew", and the show-stopper, "Love Is Not Like This", are sure to put a smile on your face when you are feeling low. Kelly Packard of "Baywatch" and the new "Ripley's" sings her heart out with fellow cast members Brent Gore, William Jones, and Heidi Noelle Lenghert. An album that if released today would reach a wider audience than it did when it came out for the first time back in 1992.

I was a fan of this show when it was on. Too bad it isn't on DVD yet. There are a lot of great songs on this CD and even though i'm in my upper 20's and past the teeny-bopper phase, I still listen to it every once in awhile. Before this CD was available on Amazon, I actually called MCA Records about re-releasing it. Of course they laughed at me. Someone wrote a review about Tower Records having it. I had tried ordering it from there and waited 3 months before being told they couldn't get it for me. Its expensive here but at least you know you will definitely get it. This is a gem that isnt usually found in your local used record shop. If you see it available, snag it while you can!!

This is the best music I've ever heard. It's a very rare occasion when you find talented actors who are talented musicians as well. I believe that they deserve a lot more recognition than they've been given. "California Dreams", also the theme song to the TV show, is my favorite song ever. "Rain" is sung by William James Jones (Tony Wicks on the show) and it's a song you can't help but sing along to, not to mention, you'll be blown away by his skills. "If You Only Knew" is a duet with Heidi Lenhart (Jenny Garrison) and Brent Gore (Matt Garrison) which was such a beautiful song, it brought tears to my eyes. The truth is, every song on this cd is great. No complaints from me. Please, don't let California Dreams become extinct. Buy this cd.

It's a pity that the only way you can get this music is by 'downloading' it. I would buy it if it was available. Though I am a huge fan of the show and know all the songs anyhow, so i can tell you that these are great songs! Anyone familiar with the show will know it was a kind of Saved By The Bell Show, and thus a peppy teeny-bopper show, but it was still a classic despite this. And the music reflects the show. It's peppy and funky, but they can get away with it! Brent Gore has fabulous voice as does William Jones in the rap styles of One World and It's Gonna Be Rain. Heidi Lenhart shows that despite being 18 when she recorded this, she had a fabulously mature and beautiful voice (eg. Castles on Quicksand), and Kelly Packard's happy and perky voice in the songs reflects her perky character Tiffani! It's also a pity that other CDs of later seasons weren't made, because new additions were made to the band as Brent and Heidi left. I suppose we can hope even if it is nearly 10 years since the show's debut!
Fans of the show will absolutely love this CD, as will those who are fans of pop music in general

If you are into heavy meatal, hard rock, rap,etc. this is not a CD for you. But if you like easy listing, with a little fat pace thrown in here and there you will like this.

I found this cd one of the best ever,even though its been out 8 years, i've only had it a few months.I AM A HUGE FAN OF THE SHOW,and i love the music,the songs to listin out for are 'THIS TIME'- 'CASTLES ON QUICKSAND'-'CALIFORNIA DREAMS THEME'- 'EVERYBODYS GOT SOMEONE'AND 'IF YOU ONLY KNEW',but listin to all the songs because a true fan wont be dissapointed.this cd is worth every penny and i am waiting for another cd. if you feel the same E-mail me at: chrisnow@hotmail.com
