Defective valve and cant contact anybody about it.,

I bought this pump cylinder to be used with the standard hand-grip air pump. Ordinarily the valve that connects to the hand pump tube is standard and the male connector fits. With my cylinder, both my older male connector/tube did not fit securely in the valve, but neither did a new one... The problem lies with the valve as it is exactly the same as my old valve on my other cylinder... it just has a slight defect in the spring mechanism.. for $32 this should be fixable and not useless.. please help anyone.

The cylinder is solid and the clamp-off valve at the end is great for maintaining suction after the pump is removed from the cylinder. If there's a better product, please let me know.
