California Girl hooked me from the first paragraph. Veronica wakes up naked to find a devastatingly handsome man in her bedroom. Seems they got married the night before but neither of them can remember. What fun! Loved the exotic setting of St. Tropez. I loved Niko. Sexy, but with so much more going for him. Veronica is also very likeable. Convinced her scum of an ex-husband hired Niko to pretend to be married to her, she goes along with the charade, determined not to let her ex win. I loved the way Ms. Edwards wove this story, letting Niko's and Veronica's true personas come out slowly and building to a very satisfying climax. A truly romantic read.

Ms. Edwards has a winner here! For a wonderful story about a couple overseas, this plot takes the reader to a beautiful setting, with an immediate conflict. Veronica wakes up to a marriage certificate, but doesn't remember any of the marriage or the night before.

This is a fun story, full of doubt, deceit, and potential revenge. Great job, Ms. Edwards! Keep writing the fantastic stories! :)

Very entertaining to the end, except that I wish it could have been a little longer. Love the way she got rid of her first husband.
