Elastic goring lends slip-on ease, while the matching kitten heel is both ultra-sophisticated and refreshingly manageable.

California Magdesian was started by two brothers in LA in 1952. Having knowledge of footwear making in both Armenia and in Russia the brothers were working for another LA company when they began to make shoes in their garage for extra money. Soon they were discovered as true craftsman. Their name and reputation quickly spread to other southern resort towns and soon they were known for sandals and shoes of quality in many sizes and widths. Today Magdesian is still run by family of the 2nd generation and training the third for the future. Their shoes are still hand crafted in LA county in the City of Industry, CA. Magdesian uses imported fine-grade Italian leather as well as American leather. They make shoes in size 4 to 14 and in Super Slim (SS) to Double Wide (WW) .
The color isn't quite as nice as I thought it would be, but the shoe is comfy and stretchy enough to be a great dance shoe. Would order in black next time.
