Great VHS programs on California Missions,

These Huell Howser VHS tapes on the California Missions are fantastic. I use them at school, and let the students take them home to watch. They are a wonderful introduction into mission history, and you feel like you are right there with Huell as he narrates. If you can't go to the missions in person, or are planning a visit- then you should watch these tapes first.

I got this book for my son when he did his mission project, and I just gave another copy to my nephew for Christmas. The book is very accessible and provides the essential information fourth graders in California need to complete their mission projects.
