[...] Californication is known for it's careful song selection - and the selections on series 3 keep up the already high standard. My pick would be "Carmelita" - a Warren Zevon song appearing here in a version by punk rocker GG Allin that possibly actually improves on the original - it's that good. But I don't think there's a turkey on here. And the CD has introduced to me several other great new artists apart from GG Allin. Five stars!!

This is a really good collection. Best tracks are Danielle Duval's "You're the One that I Want".......it slowly rolls along.....very cool. "Boys are Boys and Girls are Choice" is perfectly short and snappy....then my next BIG love is track 10 "Lord" by Sleepy Sun........love it.......play it over and over.

I LOVE this soundtrack's eclectic compilation of song!! Very original music for one of the best tv shows today. I also bought Season 1 and Season 2 soundtrack which are also really good as well! The show uses lots of original covers of classic songs that I never heard before so its great that they put them on the soundtracks because they'd be hard to find otherwise.

Highly recommend to all music lovers!

I was enticed to buy this album for several sounds that I had a hard time finding elsewhere, such as Widespread Panic's rendition of werewolves. Most of the music does not flow well together is best left in the TV show and not on a compilation together.
