First off, the Movie quality (picture, sound etc..) was entirely third rate. It looked like something out of the sixties. And most of the actors and actresses did such a terrible job, that I probably can assume correctly,that the majority were hired as 72.50/daily extras. No 'Titanic' budjet, casting or props here folks. The good aspects weren't many, but worth mentioning. I thought that David Cain did an excellent job potraying the demented Caligula, even though the story wasn't very historically accurate. His cruelty was graphically displayed in the film in several scenes, ( ex: impalming a senator, who was in a plot to assasinate Caligula, then having another senator chop up the condemned mans wife and daughter) which left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth. Yet his sexual scenes with Laura Gemser (heroine Marriem?) was a big turn on. But all in all, the movie wasn't much to view. Don't waste your cash unless you are a die hard Caligula fan (and if you are, I'm glad I don't know you!)

Very poorly done, the quality of the product is inferior. The color is atrocious, the camera work is very substandard. The whole film is worse than second rate, and not worth your time or money.
