Wow, this CD's so great. Being a Shellac fan, I was so excited to hear my favorite drummer singing! Todd's deep, fuzzy vocals, clever lyrics & sweetly familiar tunes leave me full & satisfied. Songs range from shallow (almost) & funny like Sitting Pretty, to deeply disturbing like Killer. You can almost feel what he must feel, or at least what you think he felt when writing. My personal favorite is Winterpark. It's the most beautiful song I've ever heard, no lie! This CD is surely one of my top 3 ~ but don't take my word for it; see for yourself! I'm sure your craving for sweetness will be satisfied as well!
