5.0 out of 5 stars CALL OF THE DOLPHINS, April 1, 2000
This review is from: Call of the Dolphins (Paperback)
I have been interested in reading anything and everything about dolphins. I was thrilled to find a copy of Lana Miller's book Call of the Dolphins. I found it to be a facinating journey, that was inspiring and thought-provoking. Lana takes you with her as she goes from place to place in search of dolphins. She interveiws many interesting people, all with a different veiw of why dolphins are becoming so appealing to us at this time. There is one interveiw that is actually channeled information from dophins and whales. This book was filled with so much information that I highlighed my copy on nearly every page for future reference. If you are interested in dolphins don't miss it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dolphins, Male Sexuality , Tantric Sex and Creativity, January 9, 2005

This review is from: Call of the Dolphins (Paperback)
:" Females think that a lot of male energy is involved with sexuality. ... I think that female dolphins have a similiar feeling.. that their male dolphin friends are too involved.[with their sexuality]." page 200.
this is a really interesting book , written in a warm, personal style ,by a woman. Without flinching, she speaks of sexuality ,creativity and male /female problems over that. let'not forget Tranta Philosophy on Sexuality and Creativity.

It is also compelling and feels authentic. It has recently come to light that Male Dolphins rape female Dolphins , just as men do(human women), so what she has to say is validated by science.!
It is an unusual book , written part travel journal and part channeled mystical. Never boring!

4.0 out of 5 stars Call of the Dolphins by Lana Miller, April 2, 2000
This review is from: Call of the Dolphins (Paperback)
This is a good read, especially toward the middle and later chapters. The appeal is for someone who wishes to understand the plight of the dolphins today and especially what their relationship is to people. She swims with them, listens to them with intuitive understanding, and communicates with them.

The journey to follow the dolphin's "call" is apparently cathartic for the author who lets us in on some personal self-discovery. The book is also a compilation of stories others related to her about their dolphin encounters. Along with the metaphysical inferences, there is scientific documentation, and classical references
