Purchased for my son's birthday. He had done his homework and had picked this particular one. When he opened he said it was better than he thought. He is really enjoying it -- mainly on raining days!!!!!

Was hoping for quick and fast roll with this...problem is, it is, after a piece of carpet. Very durable, but very slow. Also, despite iron/weight/time...unable to get the many and myriad ridges out of the mat. While I definitely need practice, I was looking for consistent roll.

Purchased one of these mats and have been dissappointed with it. After letting it lay flat for long periods, rolling it up with both sides out thinking maybe that would help, the mat still has many folds that will not come out! This makes it worthless for its intended purpose of practice putting. The carpeting in your house would be better. I would have rated it lower than one star if I could have!

I read the negative reviews on this mat and I'm not sure if it's justified in that I think people might have just gotten a bad mat. They just have to exchange it for one that didn't get damaged. The mat itself is great in my opinion because it rolls up very quickly. When we have guests over, I just take off the plastic cup which is Velcro and then I roll up the mat and throw it into the closet. I like how there are lines on the mat so that you know if you are rolling it straight. I've easily shaved 3-4 strokes off my game because I'm making more putts within 6 feet now. I am very happy with my purchase!
