The result was Hyperbolic Face Technology, which redefined the look, feel, and speed at which golf balls leave the clubface. Eight years in the making, clubs outfitted with Hyperbolic Face Technology offer a more robust face than traditional clubs, dramatically increasing the impact efficiency and boosting the distance on shots hit across the entire face. With the Hyper X in hand, golfers can hit long and straight drives off the tee, giving you a serious advantage on long par 4s and 5s. The Hyper X also boasts a 460cc head shape that's been optimized for a high moment of inertia (MOI), generating increased forgiveness and stability on mis-hits. And thanks to the Modified X-Sole design--which aids the alignment at address--your drives will start on the intended target line.

Other features include S2H2 technology, which shifts the discretionary weight from the hosel to the perimeter of the clubhead for added distance; an advanced Fujikura shaft that adds to the driver's feel and performance; and a classic driver look.

Callaway's Hyper X Driver. That's who. This is a great driver at a reasonable price. It may not look or sound as fancy as the Diablo, but it still get's the job done. Large, forgiving club face with a sturdy shaft makes this a winner. Excellent grip and feel. Lightweight, but still beastly. I can get some nice drives with this one. I'm using the left handed 10 degree neutral version with stiff shaft. I feel right at home on the driving range.
