i'm size 13 and 190 lbs. I've been playing golf for about 7 years, but only about 5 times or so per season. I still consider myself a beginner golfer. i've had a nice pair of nike dress-style golf shoes since i began playing and they were a bit too tight on me (was getting blisters and toe pain). after trying on various new nikes, footjoy's, adidas, and etonics, i decided to go with the callaway chev mediums. none of the nike shoes fit me well. i found the footjoys comfortable and bland in styling. same with etonic. the callaway shoe matched the comfort with sporty styling.

Callaway is the best brand in golf, right? Well, my then boyfriend at the time (he's been promoted, hahaha), was moving up in his work environment. President of his company. He talks a lot about how he has to take customers golfing. Always talking about how important golf is for people like him, and potential customers. Well - christmas was coming, so I made golf the theme (for the most part). I started to do my research and realized Callaway was the best.

I ordered these shoes for him. Thrilled they came in wide as well. They were attractive online. Figured he could show off in them. The cool guy has callaway golf shoes. Okay, enough of what I thought.

I received the item. I was curious. I unpackaged them. They were BEAUTIFUL. nice leather and everything. Seriously. I as a girl found them to look amazing. When he finally got his gift, he was shocked. He said he never seen any golf shoes so nice. He said he was afraid to wear them. I insisted he better (bossy aren't I?) - he then said only for the big guys, the big customers.

Anyway, point is. these shoes made a impact. He loves them. Loves them so much he wants to save them for special occasions.

disappointing shoes, not comfortable at all when comparing with others brand I've worn. Only the look that works.
