Product Description

Callaway's first driver to feature adjustability with OptiFit Technology and Forged Composite. This performance leading driver features the Optifit Hosel, which allows face angle adjustments for better accuracy and improved trajectory, and the OptiFit Weights, which adjust to promote Neutral or Draw ball flight. Drive like never before with these customizable settings.

OptiFit Technology

OptiFit Weights (12 grams and 2 grams) can promote either Draw ball flight or Neutral ball flight by shifting the clubhead's center of gravity. The OptiFit Hosel improves trajectory and accuracy with an Open, Square, or closed adjustable face angle.

Forged Composite

Optimum center of gravity, high MOI. Crown made from 7 million turbostratic carbon fibers for precision thickness control. Made from material that is stronger and lighter than titanium.

Streamlined Surface Technology

Downswing with 14% less energy from drag compared to the RAZR Hawk Driver. Aerodynamic contours mean added distance from higher impact speeds.

Speed Frame Face Technology

VFT and Hyperbolic Face Technology combine for consistently long distance, high ball speeds, and a large sweet spot. Weight is saved and redistributed to the clubhead perimeter resulting in high MOI. Selective milling process chemically removes unnecessary material for precise control.

My overall impression of the driver is that it is great.

Plus, as I work on my swing and get better at controlling the slice, I can adjust the weighting as my swing improves.

I got this driver custom fitted by the Callaway tour van. Getting custom fitted makes a huge difference and I recommend everybody do it regardless of which driver you get.

As for the driver, it is awesome. It has the hottest face of any driver I have owned ( I have bought 6 the last 5 years). The ball just flies of off the face and seems to go forever. The sweet spot is huuuuge! No matter where you hit it on the face the driver just goes. The callaway reps said it was the strongest face they have ever designed.

The adjustability is really straight forward, 3 setting for face angle: closed 2.5 degrees , square, and open 2.5 degrees. And there are 2 weights: a 2 gram and 12 gram weight. Putting the heavier weight on the toe will reduce a hook and putting it on the heel will reduce a slice. Callaway says they are coming out with more weights next month in varying sizes to allow more fine tuning.

My golf instructor plays an R-11 and he hit my club a few times and was amazed at how far the ball went. He was even more amazed watching me bomb drives to the end of the range. He did point out something interesting though, like the R-11, simply rotating the club in your hands has the same effect as opening and closing the club face with the wrench.

My overall impression of the driver is that it is great. It is similar to the R-11, however I do feel that the forged composite is what makes this driver different. The club is very well balanced and feels great. There's something about forged composite in a driver that gives it an explosive feel and ball flight. Also the club is more beautiful in person than the pictures portray. You can really see the technology and craftmanship of the club when it is in your hands.

I would recommend this club to everyone, but do get custom fitted as it will make all difference in the world.

I have been on a quest for "THE" driver for quite sometime. I have hit & played with various success many top rated drivers over the years, including recently, the Titleist 909D2 & 910D2, the TaylorMade R11, and the Ping G10, Rapture V2, & G15. I know, "Club H@", but I had recently found success w/ the Ping K15, and had stuck w/ it for over a year, deciding that it was really going to take something special to knock it out of the bag. Enter the CALLAWAY RAZR FIT. Amazon has a great price on this & golf equipment review sites have been gushing over it. I normally demo clubs first, but my home course doesn't sell Callaway, so I went out on a limb & took the risk. I was rewarded today. It may just be the honeymoon phase, but I hit 13 out of 14 fairways today and added at least 10-12 yards to my drives. The K15 was a fairway finder if you have "the rights", but if your swing is on, it can start to go left w/ an aggressive swing. Even w/ a 9.5* loft, I still always hit it high, but I was ok with that because of what I perceived as accuracy. The Razr Fit blew it (and everything else) out of the water. Great ball flight, long, and very accurate. I played w/ the adjustability a little before my round and finally decided on keeping the face square, but adjusting the weights to be heal heavy (draw). It was exactly what I needed. The length, the heavier than normal swing weight, & yes, even the STOCK shaft, were perfect FOR ME & what I needed. I bought he 9.5* in a stiff flex. If it all goes to pot in the near future, I'll re-post, but based on today, this was the purest, smoothest, longest, and easiest to hit driver I have ever played. Great job Callaway!!!

I'm a single-digit handicap and have gone through about every driver ever manufactured over my 40 years of golfing. Most recently, I had been playing an R11 driver and though I was consistently hitting fairways, I felt like I was losing a little distance so went on a "new driver search". I tried all the new ones on the computer at Edwin Watts and all were about the same as my R11. The manager there handed me the new RAZR Fit to try and I wanted to decline...again, just never being a Callaway fan. Reluctantly, I hit a few balls with it...and then about 20 more to make sure what I was seeing was not a fluke! My ball speed was averaging 20 MPH more than my R11 or any of the others I'd just tried. The launch angle was 14 degrees and the spin was in the acceptable range. Most importantly, the average of all the shots I'd just taken was 15 yards more than the average of my R11. Knowing that as soon as you buy a new driver and take it to the range, it stops performing <lol>...that's exactly what I did. At the range, its performance absolutely amazed me...a small bucket of balls and only one pull and one slight fade. All the rest of the shots were absolutely perfect (by my standards). I reversed the heel and toe weights to give it a little bit of draw bias (I fight a tiny bit of over-the-top problem) and that's the only adjustment I made. Your own results may vary, but if you're looking for a new driver, be sure to try this one...it's the best driver I've ever played.

It was a difficult decision to spent so much money on a new driver when I had a only one year old Calloway FT-IZ driver that I was happy with. Still most golfers will pay big $$$ for the promise of a few additional yards. I have played about 10 rounds witn the RAZR Fit and I am glad that I got it. While it is difficult to say if I do hit it further as course and weather conditions have changed, I do hit it consistently well. When my swing is solid, it does help me get the slight draw that I prefer. After testing and trying different settings, I have adjusted it once (the "fitting" directions are very easy and clear) and I expect to keep it this way forever. I did not purchase the club for the adjustability, but I do think Callaway got it right with the more simple and straightfoward adjustablity.
